Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets with hegumen of Hilandar Monastery

On 6 September 2018, at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute of Postgraduate Studies, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, rector of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Theological Institute, met with a delegation of the Serbian Hilandar Monastery on Mount Athos, led by the hegumen of the abode, Archimandrite Metodije (Marković).
During the meeting held in a warm friendly atmosphere Metropolitan Hilarion and his guests exchanged opinions on some issues of mutual interest.
To conclude the meeting, Metropolitan Hilarion presented the Serbian guests with his six-volume book entitled ‘Jesus Christ. Life and Teaching,’ and Archimandrite Metodije handed over to the DECR chairman a replica of the Hilandar Icon of the Lord Almighty, painted in the abode.
