On 22-28 August 2018, Artos 13th International Festival on the history, culture and religion of Georgia will take place in Sokolniki Park in Moscow, Patriarchia.ru reports, citing the official website of the Synodal Department for Church’s Relations with Society and Mass Media.

The guests of the festival will learn about the spiritual traditions of the Georgian people, listen to the church chants and drinking songs dating back to the Middle Ages, watch fiction films and documentaries made by the Georgian film directors, and meet with the priests who will tell about the life of the Georgian Orthodox Church and the saints and holy sites of the Caucasus.

The organizers have also prepared various creative projects and a cooking class. At the food-court the guests will be able to try some of the dishes of the Georgian cuisine.

The festival is free to enter.
