DECR vice-chairman meets with Swiss ambassador to Russia

On August 13, 2018, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Russia Ives Rossier visited the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations (DECR) and was received by the DECR vice-chairman Archpriest Nikolay Balashov.

They discussed issues of mutual concern including those involved in the Church’s peacemaking service in the situation of civil conflict in eastern Ukraine.

The Swiss ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Elly Tzogalis Corbaz, first secretary of the Swiss embassy.
