His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa completed his stay in Moscow on July 28, 2018.

He was seen off at Domodedovo airport by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR); Metropolitan Athanasios of Kyrene, representative of the Patriarch of Alexandria to the Patriarch of Moscow of All Russia; Metropolitan Arseny of Istra, first vicar of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia for Moscow; Archpriest Nikolai Balashov, DECR deputy chairman; Archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations; and clerics of Moscow.

His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros visited Moscow from July 26 to 29 at the invitation of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and took part in the celebration of the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia.

On July 27, the Primates of the Orthodox Church of Alexandria and of the Russian Orthodox Church had a fraternal talk at the residence of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia.

On July 28, the commemoration day of the Grand Prince Vladimir Equal-to-the-Apostles, His Beatitude Theodoros II and His Holiness Patriarch Kirill celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Square in the Moscow Kremlin, took part in the Procession of the Cross to the monument to the Baptizer of Russia on Borovitskaya Square and celebrated a prayer service there.
