DECR chairman meets with Portuguese ambassador to Russia

February 19, 2018 – DECR chairman Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with Portuguese ambassador to Russia Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro, at the parish house of the church of Our Lady the Joy to All the Afflicted-in-Bolshaya Ordynka.

Participating in the meeting was also Deacon Andrey Titushkin, DECR secretariat for the far abroad.

Metropolitan Hilarion warmly welcomed the high-ranking guest at the renowned Moscow parish with rich history and traditions.

Mr. Paulo Vizeu Pinheiro, in his turn, thanked the DECR chairman for the opportunity to meet.

They discussed urgent problems of today, as well as matters concerning the Russian Church’s cooperation with the Portuguese diplomatic mission.
