Metropolitan Hilarion’s message of Name-Day greetings to Primate of Albanian Orthodox Church

Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations, has sent a message of greetings to His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, on the occasion of the commemoration day of his Heavenly Patron, the Venerable martyr Anastasius the Persian. The message of greetings states:

 

Your Beatitude,

I cordially greet Your Beatitude on the occasion of the commemoration day of your Heavenly Patron – the Venerable martyr Anastasius the Persian.

Through the intercession of this saint, you as a wise helmsman successfully carry out the lofty Primatial ministry, guiding the salvific ark of the Albanian Orthodox Church. The spiritual father of the Orthodox Christians in Albania, by the example of your life you admonish the people of God to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 2:22).

On this solemn day I prayerfully wish Your Beatitude good health, abundant help of God and successful and peaceful Primacy.
