On 6 December 2017, His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland completed his visit to Moscow.

The delegation that accompanied him to the celebration of the centenary of the restoration of Patriarchate in the Russian Church included Archbishop Grzegorz of Bielsk, Archpriest Doroteusz Sawicki, and Mr. Mikołaj Podolec.

During his stay in Moscow Metropolitan Sawa had a brotherly talk with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, delivered an address at the final session of the Bishops’ Council on December 2, officiated at the Divine Liturgy at the Novospassky stavropegic monastery on December 3, and concelebrated with the Primates and representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour on December 4, the feast of the Entry of the Mother of God into the Temple.

The Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church was seen off at Sheremetyevo airport by Metropolitan Isidor of Smolensk and Dorogobuzh, Bishop Serafim of Lyubertsy, and Mr. Yevgeny Bakhtin, DECR staff member.
