His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East arrives in Moscow

December 2, 2017 – His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, has arrived in Moscow. At the airport, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Antioch, who has come for the celebrations to be held on the occasion of the centenary of the restoration of Patriarchate in the Russian Orthodox Church, was met by Metropolitan Feofan of Kazan and Tatarstan; Metropolitan Niphon of Filippopolis, representative of the Patriarch of Antioch to the Patriarch of Moscow; Archbishop Feofilakt of Pyatigorsk and Cherekessk; H. E. Riyad Haddad, ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic in Russia; and H. E. Chawki Bou Nassar, ambassador of Lebanon in Russia.

The delegation accompanying His Beatitude John X includes Metropolitan Basilios of Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines; Archimandrite Parthenios (Allati); Heguman Arseniy (Sokolov), representative of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia to the Patriarchal See of Antioch; Archdeacon Gerasimos (Kabbas); Mr. Georges Ghandour, Mr. Georges Nahas, Mr. Hassan Risheh, Mr. Husam Salibi, and Ms. Lea Adel.
