DECR vice-chairman meets with El Salvador’s charge d’affaires in Russia

August 14, 2017 – DECR vice-chairman Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov) met with Al Salvador’s charge d’affaires in Russia Mr. Yuri Pavel Santacruz Perdomo, at the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations. Participating in the meeting were also Archpriest Sergiy Zvonarev, DECR secretary for the far abroad, and Hierodeacon Roman (Kiselev), a staff member of the secretariat for the far abroad.

Archimandrite Philaret warmly welcomed the guests to the synodal department responsible for the Moscow Patriarchate’s international contacts.

They discussed matters of mutual concern including initiatives made in the religious sphere for bringing the peoples of Russia and El Salvador closer together.
