Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets with delegation of Urbi et Orbi Foundation

On 10 July 2017, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, received a delegation of the Urbi et Orbi Catholic Foundation, led by Dr. Rober Moynihan, editor-in-chief of the Inside the Vatican magazine. Taking part in the meeting that took place at the DECR was also Mr. Philip Champion of the DECR Secretariat for Inter-Christian Relations.

The participants in the meeting discussed various issues of mutual interest, including the promotion of bilateral cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church in science, culture and social ministry. The representatives of the Urbi et Orbi Foundation emphasized the importance of religious revival in Russia.
