His Holiness Patriarch Kirill congratulates Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church on the anniversary of his enthronement

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent the following greeting to His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland on the anniversary of his enthronement:

Your Beatitude, beloved Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Throne:

I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the anniversary of your ascension to the Throne of Metropolitans of Warsaw and All Poland/

Heeding the apostolic call to “love the family of believers” (1 Pet 2:17) you care for the strengthening of relations between our Churches which have common history.

On this solemn day I prayerfully wish Your Beatitude peace, gracious physical strength, and inexhaustible joy in the Lord and His almighty aid in your primatial labours.
