His Holiness Patriarch Kirill greets His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav with anniversary of his enthronement

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent the following greeting to His Beatitude Metropolitan Rastislav of the Czech Lands and Slovakia with the third anniversary of his enthronement:

Your Beatitude, beloved brother and concelebrant at God’s Throne:

I wholeheartedly greet you with the third anniversary of your enthronement.

The preaching of Orthodoxy continues in the land of Great Moravia sanctified in ‘the days of old’ (Ps 143:5) by the deeds of Ss Cyril and Methodius Equal-to-the-Apostles under the primatial omophorion of Your Beatitude. Endeavouring to be ‘an example of the believers in word, in conduct, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity’ (1Tim 4:12) you are set clergy and laity on the path of salvation and see to developing the life of the Church entrusted to your care.

I prayerfully wish you peace, good health and almighty God’s aid in your primatial ministry.
