On 15 November 2016, the Board of the Christian Interconfessional Consultative Committee (CICC) met at the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate. The session was chaired by the CICC co-chairmen: Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, head of the DECR; Archbishop Paolo Pezzi, head of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of the Mother of God in Moscow; and pastor Vitaly Vlasenko, head of the Department for External Church Affairs of the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists.

Among those who took part in the meeting were also Sergei Ryakhovsky, senior bishop of the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith (Pentecostals); Bishop K. Bendas, chancellor of the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith (Pentecostals); Ms I. Arkhipova, specialist in external and international communications of the Russian Union of Christians of Evangelical Faith (Pentecostals); Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), DECR vice-chairman; Hieromonk Stefan (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations; Ms Margarita Nelyubova, DECR staff member; Mr. Ph. Champion, staff member of the DECR Secretariat for Inter-Christian Relations; priest Nikolai Bobkov, representative of the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church; Mr. S. Belov, assistant to the chairman of the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists; Mr. A. Petersons, preacher of the Central diocese of the Evangelical and Lutheran Church of Russia; Mr. Ye. Bondarenko, provost of the Evangelical and Lutheran Church of Russia; Ms T. Osina, representative of the Roman Catholic Church; Mr. O. Goncharov, first deputy chairman of the Euro-Asian Division of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church;          Mr. I. Borichevsky, head of the Administration of the Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith; and Mr. A. Avetisyan, representative of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The participants in the meeting expressed their satisfaction at the conference held under the auspices of the CICC at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on October 4, 2016, that marked the 140th anniversary of the Synodal translation of the Bible. The CICC Board also discussed the optimization of its activities and the organization of the CICC 5th plenum in 2017.
