His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia chairs regular session of the Supreme Church Council

On 10 December 2015, a regular session of the Supreme Church Council of the Russian Orthodox Church began its work at the Hall of the Supreme Church Council at the Church of Christ the Saviour in Moscow under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church opened the meeting and delivered an introductory address, in which he spoke about the Regulations of the Church commission for church art, architecture and restoration.

The following agenda of the session was approved:

1. Implementation of decisions taken by the Supreme Church Council and the Bishops’ Council of the Russian Orthodox Church
2. Discussion of the work plans of the Synodal institutions for 2016
3. Approval of the drafts of some documents
4. Any other business.
