Representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church take part in WCC and UNECEF seminar

The Very Revd. Mikhail Gundyaev, the Moscow Patriarchate’s representative at the World Council of Churches and international organizations in Geneva, and Mr. Vakhtang Kipshidze, head of the Synodal Information’s Department analytical section, took part in the seminar on the support of children’s rights sponsored by the World Council of Churches and the UN Children’s Fund and held in Geneva on November 19.

Representatives of both organizations brought greetings and delivered reports at the meeting which focused on discussing a draft document ‘Principles and tools for child-friendly Churches.’

The seminar took place in the framework of partnership signed by the WCC and the UNICEF on September 18, 2015.
