The meeting of the Presidential Council for Cooperation with Religious Associations took place at the Moscow Kremlin on October 9, 2015.

The meeting, chaired by Mr. Sergei Ivanov, head of the Presidential Administration and chairman of the Council, was attended by members of the Council who represented the Old Rite Believers, the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Russian Federation, Russian Association of the Union of the Evangelical Christian Faith, Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of the Russian Federation, Central Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Russia, Coordination Centre of the Muslims of North Caucasus, Chief Rabbi of Russia, Eurasian division of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, institute of ‘Religion and Politics’ Foundation, Presidential Administration for Domestic Policy, St. Petersburg and Moscow State Universities.

The Russian Orthodox Church was represented by Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsy and Kolomna; Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations; and Archbishop Yevgeny of Vereya, chairman of the Education Committee and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy and Seminary.

Metropolitan Hilarion, who heads of the Council’s Commission for International Cooperation, presented a report on the work of the Commission.
