Condolences of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church over deadly floods in Georgia
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia expressed his condolences to the Primate of the Georgian Orthodox Church, people and leaders of Georgia over the flood that has caused victims and destruction.

Your Excellency, highly respected Giorgi Parmenovich:
With profound grief I have learned of the natural disaster that has befallen Georgia – the heavy flood which had claimed human lives, brought pain and suffering to many people, especially the near and dear ones of the victims, and caused considerable material losses.
I express sincere condolences to You, the government and all residents of the country.
I offer up prayers to the All-Merciful Lord for the speedy recovery of the injured and consolation of the bereaved, for granting help to the rescuers and medical doctors participating in the liquidation of consequences of natural disaster.
