Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church congratulates His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church on his Name Day

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent the following greeting to His Holiness Patriarch Neophyte of Bulgaria on the commemoration day of his heavenly patron:

Your Holiness, beloved in the Lord Brother and Concelebrant at God’s Altar:

I wholeheartedly greet you with your Name Day.

You have become a monk with the name of Neophyte, martyr and a zealous saint known by his virtuous and ascetic life. God’s most wise Providence has placed on your shoulders the cross of Patriarchal ministry in the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

May the All-Bountiful Lord grant you spiritual and physical strength through the prayers of your heavenly patron and bestow upon you his peace ‘which passeth all understanding’ (Philippians 4:7) and grant you his inexhaustible help in your primatial care for your God-loving flock.
