The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church congratulates Patriarch Daniel of Romania

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent the following congratulatory message to His Beatitude Daniel, Patriarch of Romania, on the occasion of the commemoration day of his patron saint:

Seeking to emulate the virtues of the Lord’ Prophet Daniel, whose name shines over your primatial work, you see to it that the holy faith of the fathers be strengthened in the people of God entrusted to your care and that people’s hearts seek the knowledge of the One Who is the Way and the Truth (Jn. 14:6).

I prayerfully wish you peace, the fullness of spiritual gifts and good health for many good years of the patriarchal ministry.
