Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church completes his visit to Istanbul
On 9 March 2014, the Synaxis of the Primates and representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, which began on March 6, completed its work, and His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia departed for Moscow.
His Holiness and members of the official delegation were seen off at the airport by H.E. Andrei Karlov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey, and Mr. Alexei Yerkhov, Consul General of Russia in Istanbul. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church warmly thanked them for the assistance rendered during the visit.
