DECR chairman meets with Mexican Ambassador to Russia

On 6^th December 2013, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, received H.E. Rubén Alberto Beltrán Guerrero, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation.

Metropolitan Hilarion warmly greeted the Ambassador and told him about the Russian-speaking diaspora in Mexico and about the ministry of the Russian Orthodox Church in this largest country in Latin America.

The Mexican Ambassador thanked the DECR chairman for cordial meeting and expressed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with the Moscow Patriarchate.

Topical issues on the current international agenda were discussed.
