On 21 November 2013, the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations hosted the second meeting of the working group on the premises for prayer and spiritual care for believers at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in 2014.

Participating in the meeting were archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, chairman of the Synodal Department for Church-Society relations; Mr. Vladimir Legoida, chairman of the Synodal Information Department; other representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church; and trustees of the Interreligious Council of Russia.

They discussed a booklet about world religions in the Russian, English and French languages and other information about life and activities of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Also discussed were issues of the equipment of the premises for prayer in the territory of Olympic Villages and of the meetings with volunteers in order to help them organize their work.
