Head of the Department for External Church Relations meets with chairman of the Presidential Council for Human Rights

On May 20, 2013, the DECR chairman Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with the chairman of the Presidential Council for the Development of the Civil Society and Human Rights, M. Fedotov. Participating in the meeting, which was held at the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations, was also Hierodeacon Roman (Kiselev), a DECR staff member for the far-abroad countries.

 

Metropolitan Hilarion and Mr. Fedotov discussed problems involved in the federal designated program for perpetuating the memory of victims of the political repressions developed by the Council’s interdepartmental working group.
