Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk greets Archbishop Leo of Karelia and All Finland with the anniversary of his enthronement

Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, sent the following greeting to Archbishop Leo of Karelia and All Finland with the anniversary of his elevation to the Throne of archbishops of Karelia and All Finland:

I wholeheartedly greet You with an anniversary of Your elevation to the Throne of Archbishops of Karelia and All Finland.

The Russian Orthodox Church appreciates Your efforts directed to the deepening of understanding with the Moscow Patriarchate and to the cooperation of our Churches in care for the Russian-speaking faithful.

On this solemn day, I prayerfully wish Your Eminence peace, physical strength and God’s almighty help in leading the Orthodox flock in the Land of Suomi.
