A hierarch of the Patriarchate of Constantinople visits the Russian Seminary in Paris
On June 19, 2012, Metropolitan Emmanuel of France (Patriarchate of Constantinople) visited the Russian Orthodox Seminary at Elin-sous-Senart near Paris. He was welcomed by Bishop Nestor of Chersonese and the rector of the seminary, Father Alexander Sinyakov.
During his meeting with the seminarians, His Eminence Emmanuel spoke about the inter-Orthodox cooperation in France, preparations for a Pan-Orthodox Council and inter-Christian dialogue. The guest also answered numerous questions from students.
After that Metropolitan Emmanuel and Bishop Nestor attended the vespers at the seminary’s chapel. After the service, Father Alexander addressed Metropolitan Emmanuel with a speech of greetings, the Diocese of Chersonese website has reported.
