Bishop Nestor of Chersonese attends celebrations on the occasion of the name day of the Primate of the Church of Constantinople
On June 14, 2012, a thanksgiving was celebrated at the cathedral of the Greek Metropolia in Paris on the occasion of the name day of His Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople.
The service led by Metropolitan Emmanuel of France (Patriarchate of Constantinople) was attended, among others, by Archbishop Gabriel of Comana (Patriarchate of Constantinople) and Bishop Nestor of Chersonese.
Present at the thanksgiving were also hierarchs of the Roman Catholic Church, Greek diplomats in France, clergy of various Local Orthodox Churches, representatives of the Greek diaspora, parishioners and guests.
After the service, the worshippers were invited to share in a fraternal repast, the Diocese of Chersonese website has reported.
