Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk takes part in presentation of National Idea study
On May 21, 2012, there was a presentation of a state governance study ‘Russia’s National Idea’.
The study gives scientifically grounded answers to many questions and offers legislative initiatives and action programs. As its outcome, a scientific model of a new Russian Constitution was set forth. The study consists of six volumes prepared by the Center for Problem Analysis and State Governance Projecting.
The most important parts of the monograph were presented by V. Yakunin, Doctor of Political Sciences, president of the Russian Railways Company, and Dr. Sulashkin, director general of the Center.
Among the speakers were also Archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin, head of the Synodal Department for Church-Society Relation,s and S. Scheblygin, president of the St. Andrew-the First-Called Foundation.
