DECR chairman meets with hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus

On 24 January 2012, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk met with Metropolitan Isaias of Tamassos and Orini and archpriest Paraskevos Papamihail from the Ortodox Church of Cyprus. They were joined in the meeting, which took place at the Department for External Church Relations, by archpriest Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for Inter-Orthodox Relations.
Bilateral cooperation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Orthodox Church of Cyprus was discussed.
