Bishop Jonah of Obukhov, a vicar of the Kiev metropolia, leads a pilgrims’ group from Ukraine to Georgia with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The pilgrims stayed in Georgia from 5-9 December and visited monasteries and churches in Tbilisi, Mtskheta, and other cities. They prayed for the health of Hid Beatitude Metropolitan Vladimir, official website of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church reports.

Bishop Jonah of Obukhov met with Metropolitan Seraphim of Borjomi and Bakuriani and Metropolitan David of Alaverdi. The Georgian hierarchs, who visited Ukraine several times, recalled with pleasure hospitality of the God-loving Ukrainian people.
