DECR deputy chairman meets with a Lebanese diplomat

On 31 October 2011, archpriest Nikolai Balashov, deputy chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations, met with Mr. Fadi Hajali, chargé d’affaires of the Republic of Lebanon in the Russian Federation.

They discussed the development of spiritual and cultural relations between the people of Russia and Lebanon, interreligious peace and the situation of religious minorities in the context of political situation in the Middle East.
