Metropolitan Hilarion’s report is read out at the International Conference in the Russian State Humanitarian University

An international scholarly conference on “Democracy, Society, and Modernization in Modern Russia” took place at the Russian State Humanitarian University on 25 October 2011.

The Conference is sponsored by the RF Presidential Council on the Development of Civil Society Institutions and Human Rights; Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, and the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSHU).

The report of Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department (DECR), on “The Moral Imperative of Russian Democracy” was read put by the DECR staff member Vakhtang Kipshidze.
