President Dmitry Medvedev congratulates Karekin I, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, on his 60th birthday

The time of your primatial service has been marked with true flourishing of the Armenian Apostolic Church, restoration and construction of churches and realization of important educational and charitable projects.

You have given special attention to the development of inter-church dialogue which contributes to the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between our fraternal nations. Your efforts to promote inter-confessional and international peace in the Caucasus deserve utmost respect.
