DECR vice-chairman Archpriest Nikolay Balashov meets with Palestinian ambassador to Russia, Mr. Faed Mustafa

On August 15, 2011, Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, DECR vice-chairman, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Palestine to the Russian Federation, Mr. Faed Mustafa, at the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations.

They discussed problems concerning the situation of Christians in the Middle East, development of pilgrimage to the Holy Land and prospects for strengthening religious and cultural cooperation between the peoples of Rus’ and Palestine.
