DECR deputy chairman, archpriest Nikolai Balashov, meets with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan

On 3 August 2011, archpriest Nikolai Balashov, the DECR deputy chairman, met with H.E. Ziyadulla Pulathojayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation. The meeting took place at the DECR premises.

Cooperation between the church and the state and interreligious cooperation in Uzbekistan were discussed in a warm atmosphere of mutual understanding.

Taking part in the meeting was U. Jamalov, head of the Protocol Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation.
