His Holiness Patriarch Kirill meets with representatives of Local Orthodox Churches participating in International Theological Conference

The 6^th International Theological Conference of the Russian Orthodox Church on “Life in Christ: Christian Ethics, Ascetic Tradition of the Church, and Challenges of Modern Epoch” opened at the conference hall of “Danilovskaya” hotel. Began its work on 15 November 2010.

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia presided at the opening session.

In the intermission, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill met with representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches who are taking part in the conference. The guests told him about the development of theology in their Churches and ecclesiastical life and conveyed greetings from the Primates of their Local Churches to His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

It was for the first time in history of the International Theological Conference of the Russian Orthodox Church that her Primate sent invitations to all Primates of Local Orthodox Churches to send theologians to the forum.
