On 13 November 2010, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, currently on a visit in Ukraine with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, officiated at the All-Night Vigil at the Cathedral Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother of God.

Having been vested, Metropolitan Hilarion venerated the relics of St. Athanasius, Patriarch of Constantinople, and St. Melety, Archbishop of Kharkov, as well as the miraculous Ozeryansk Icon of the Mother of God.

Concelebrating with Metropolitan Hilarion were Archbishop Onufry of Izyum, a vicar bishop of the Kharkov diocese; Rev. Igor Yakimchuk, DECR secretary for inter-Orthodox relations; hierodeacon Ioann (Kopeikin); protodeacon Viktor Shilovsky, a cleric of St. Nicholas’ Cathedral in Vienna; and clergymen of the Kharkov diocese.

After the divine service, Metropolitan Hilarion and his suite departed for the Poltava diocese.
