A list of journals to publish the results of research done by the candidates for a degree studying in the Church Postgraduate School is presented on mospat.ru

At its meeting on 11 May 2010, the Academic Board of the Ss Cyril and Methodius Postgraduate and Doctoral School of the Russian Orthodox Church approved the list of 494 scholarly periodicals that would publish the results of research work done by the candidates for a degree in theology. These periodicals include those issued mostly in the Russian language in the canonical territory of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as foreign theological, church-historical and humanitarian publications.

By the time of defending their thesis, the candidates for PhD should have at least one publication in a journal on the list, while the candidates for the degree of Doctor of Theology should have at least six publications.
