A pilgrim group of religious workers in Sweden came to Moscow on April 12, 2010. The delegation includes Bishop Dosifej of Britain and Scandinavia (Serbian Orthodox Church), Bishop Makarios of Northern Europe (Romanian Orthodox Church) as well as bishops of the Syrian and Coptic Churches in Sweden, representatives of Oriental and Orthodox clergy in Sweden and members of Bilda, a Swedish educational society.

On April 13, the delegation attended the patriarchal service at the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael in Moscow Kremlin. Together with Bishops Alexander of Dmitrov and Irinarkh of Krasnogorsk they concelebrated the Divine Liturgy with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. The delegation was accompanied by Archpriest Vladimir Alexandrov, rector of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Parish of St. Sergius in Stockholm, and Hieromonk Stefan Igumnov of the DECR.

The guests from Sweden will stay in Russia till April 18. On April 15, they will meet with the DECR chairman, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk.
