DECR chairman meets with Egyptian ambassador in Russia

Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the department for external church relations, met on 24 February 2010 with the Egyptian Ambassador in Russia H. E. Ezzat Saad El-Sayed.

They discussed preparations for the official visit to be made by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia to the Patriarchate of Alexandria in April 2010.

Present at the meeting was Rev. Igor Yakimchuk, DECR acting secretary for inter-Orthodox relations
