DECR Chairman congratulates His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland on his Name Day

Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for external church relations, congratulated the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church on his Name Day. The text of the greeting is given below:

Your Beatitude:

I cordially greet you with your Name Day.

Your Beatitude’s labours as Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church have always been done for equipping “the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph 4:12). They serve to the good order of church life of the people of God in Poland and successful missionary witness about the truth of Holy Orthodoxy.

On this solemn day I prayerfully wish Your Beatitude good health and almighty God’s help in your primatial ministry.
