Metropolitan Vladimir of Kiev and All Ukraine to visit Italy

His Beatitude Vladimir, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, is to visit Italy from December 18 to 20, 2009.

On December 18, the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will officiate at All-Night Vigil and on December 19 will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the honorable relics of St. Nicholas the Miracle-worker in Bare.

On December 20, His Beatitude Vladimir will visit the Parish of St. Ambrose of Milan in Milan to meet with Orthodox Ukrainians residing or working in Italy. According to official statistics, there are some 30 000 Ukrainian natives living in Milan alone, the Orthodoxy in Ukraine website has reported.
