Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk meets leaders of Heilongjiang Province and Harbin Administrations for Religious Affairs

Archbishop Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate department for external church relations, during his stay in Harbin on 19 November 2009, met with the leaders of the Heilongjiang Province and Harbin Administrations for Religious Affairs.

They discussed the situation of the Orthodox Chinese in the province and opportunities for giving support to the Community of the Intercession in Harbin on the basis of mutual understanding reached between the Chinese State Administration for Religious Affairs and the Russian Presidential Council for Cooperation with Religious Organizations.
