His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia sent greetings to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev with the Day of Republic. The text is given below.

Dear Nursultan Abishevich:

I heartily congratulate you on the Day of Republic.

During the years of the national sovereignty, people of the country led by you have gone along the path of successive development in all spheres of the state and public life. At present Kazakhstan is a state that is building harmonious interethnic and interreligious relations. It is eloquently testified by an initiative of Kazakhstan to hold a Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. The Orthodox community in your Republic enjoys constant support and attention of the state authorities.

Dear Nursultan Abishevich, I wish you and the people of Kazakhstan peace, prosperity and well-being. I hope that our constructive development will develop as fruitfully as in the previous years.
