DECR Chairman greets Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana and All Albania on the occasion of his Name Day
The Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations, Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, has sent the following message of greetings to His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, on the occasion of the Name Day:
Your Beatitude,
On the commemoration day of your heavenly patron, I wholeheartedly greet Your Beatitude and prayerfully glorify together with you the Venerable Martyr Anastasius the Persian.
According to the prayers of the great man of God who remained faithful to our Saviour even unto death, the Lord gives you strength to preach by word and the example of your life the good news of Christ to the God-loving flock of the Albanian Orthodox Church asserted in the salvific faith through your efforts.
I wish you God’s help in your primatial ministry, sound health and abundant spiritual blessing from the All-Generous Heavenly Father. May the All-Merciful Lord prolong the years of your apostolic ministry at the chair of the First Hierarch of the Albanian Orthodox Church.
