The Primates of the Russian and Georgian Orthodox Churches continued discussing issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n<p>Accompanying His Holiness and Catholicos-Patriarch Iliya II were Metropolitan Theodore of Akhaltsikhe and Tao-Klarjeti, vicar of the Catholicos-Patriarch; Metropolitan Gerasim of Zugdidi and Tsaishi, chairman of the Georgian Patriarchate\u2019s Foreign Department; Protopresbyter Georgy Zviadadze, rector of the Tbilisi Theological Academy; archimandrite David (Chincharauli); and other members of the Georgian delegation.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in the meeting were also Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations; Archbishop Mark of Yegorievsk, head of the Administration for Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s Institutions Abroad; Bishop Sergy of Solnechnogorsk, head of the Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s Administrative Secretariat; and archpriest Nikolai Balashov, DECR vice-chairman.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 25 January 2013, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met with His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos-Patriarch Iliya II of All Georgia at the patriarchal residence in Peredelkino.
