Theological consultations were held from August 3 to 5, 2011, at Westminster College in Cambridge to prepare a guide on Patristics for various Christian denominations, especially the Protestant ones.<\/p>\n

The preparation of this guide was initiated by Metropolitan Hilarion, head of the Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s department for external church relations, and has been carried out under the aegis of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches.<\/p>\n

As Bogoslov.ru portal has reported, the consultations were attended among others by the Revd Dr Susan Durber, Principal of Westminster College, the Revd Michael van Parys of the Catholic Church, Ms. Tamara Grdzelidze of the Faith and Order Commission, and Archimandrite Kirill (Govorun), deputy chairman of the Russian Orthodox Church\u2019s Education Committee.<\/p>\n
