<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\nOn 3rd<\/sup> November 2019, in St. Sergius\u2019 Hall of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour in Moscow, His\u00a0Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia met with the head of the Archdiocese of Orthodox Parishes of Russian Tradition in Western Europe, Metropolitan John of Dubna, and members of the Archdiocese\u2019s delegation.<\/p>\n
The Divine Liturgy celebrated that day at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour completed the unification of the Archdiocese with the Russian Orthodox Church. His Holiness once again congratulated the delegation members on this historic event and told them about the multivolume edition of documents of the Holy Council of the Russian Church of 1917-18. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church presented one series of volumes to the Archdiocese, and the other \u2013 to St.\u00a0Sergius Orthodox Theological Institute in Paris.<\/p>\n
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill also gave gifts to the members of the delegation \u2013 icons of the Holy Fathers of the Local Council of the Russian Church of 1917-18.<\/p>\n
On behalf of the Archdiocese Metropolitan John of Dubna also handed over memorable gifts to His Holiness.<\/p>\n
Taking part in the celebrations marking the reunification of the Archdiocese of Orthodox Parishes of Russian Tradition in Western Europe with the Russian Orthodox Church is the delegation led by Metropolitan John of Dubna. The delegation includes over a hundred people \u2013 descendents of the first wave of the Russian emigration of the early 20th century, as well as descendents of the Russian displaced persons, representatives of the Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Moldovan \u00e9migr\u00e9 communities, and of the peoples of Central and Western Europe: the French, the Belgians, the Dutch, the Germans, the British, the Scots, the Romanians, the Polish, and the Serbs.<\/p>\n
