<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div><\/p>\nOn 4 April 2019, the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church began its session at the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in Danilov Monastery in Moscow under the chairmanship of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.<\/p>\n
The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church opened the session and addressed those gathered, saying: \u201cI cordially greet all members of the Holy Synod. There are seventeen items on the agenda, one of which is the approval of the topics of the 28th<\/sup> International Christmas Readings.<\/p>\n The Supreme Church Council has paid much attention to them and after a prolonged discussed decided unanimously to present the topic \u201cThe Great Victory: Heritage and Heritors\u201d to the Holy Synod. The topic is important in the context of the jubilee year of the victory. However, it is not enough to talk about the past.
