The participants in the meeting, which took place at the premises of the Pontifical Council, discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to the bilateral cooperation. For instance, Bishop John informed the representative of the Holy See about the current situation caused by the anti-canonical actions of the Patriarchate of Constantinople which had recognized the schismatic leaders in Ukraine and continued to promote the project of the Ukrainian autocephaly.<\/p>\n<p>Taking part in the meeting were also Hieromonk Amvrosy (Matsegora), secretary of the Administration of the Moscow Patriarchate\u2019s parishes in Italy, and Rev.
