With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, it was attended by a delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church. It included Bishop Mstislav of Tikhvin and Ledeinoe Pole, head of the delegation; Archpriest Victor Lyutik, representative of the Moscow Patriarchate in Finland, rector of the church of the Protecting Veil in Helsinki; and Hieromonk Stephan (Igumnov), DECR secretary for inter-Christian relations.<\/p>\n
The celebrations were also attended by the President of Finland Sauli Niinisto, General Secretary of the Lutheran World Federation Dr. Martin Junge; Bishop Bartholomew of Arianzos, representative of the Orthodox Church of Constantinople; heads and representatives of Lutheran churches in Europe, Africa, North and Central America, the episcopate and clergy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Finland.<\/p>\n
During the grand reception in the historic city hall in Turku on June 2, Bishop Mstislav brought a message of congratulations to Archbishop Tapio Luoma from the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church.<\/p>\n
On June 3, Archbishop Tapio Luoma was installed at the cathedral in Turku.<\/p>\n
